Cryptococcus neoformans gene deletion project

We have developed a genetic screen for C. neoformans that allows identification of virulence mutants from a large pool of insertion mutants. The goals of this project are to efficiently test the contribution of C. neoformans genes to pathogenesis using a mass screening approach.

This website is designed to be a resource for the Cryptococcus community. Researchers can contribute gene deletions they have made as well as search for deletions already in the database.

Currently there are 389 deletions listed in the database.

This website developed and maintained by the Jennifer Lodge research lab in the
Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Saint Louis University.

Project questions should be directed to Jennifer Lodge
